Take a road trip through Europe by having your students complete this free downloadable activity. Use this activity as an extension when teaching about the geography of Europe.
Students are to use their geography skills and critical thinking skills by choosing six countries to visit. They can choose from:
- Russia
- Spain
- Ukraine
- Italy
- Belgium
- Polan
- Norway
- Germany
- Ireland
- France
- UK
After creating their travel itinerary, they will have to devise travel plans. This becomes an awesome activity when they need to draw a map of each country, label the capital city and a city they want to visit.
It gets even better as they then write about how they will travel to visit the rest of the countries – by car, train, boat, etc.
