You’ll get a great tutorial on how to walk through the estimation activity using donated materials from parents, modeling a group of ten to help learn spatial sense and using a number line too. 2. Create a Safe Spot in the Classroom – Teaching students how to calm themselves down is a huge life skill. Here is a great set of tips on how to implement a “safe spot” in the classroom where a student can work through their issues. This is a fantastic set of tips for classroom management and behavior management by giving students with behavior problems the place to practice a new set of life skills. Fantastic idea!

3. Brown Bear Brown Bear Shapes Game – You’ll find two different ways to play this shapes name game with this free Brown Bear Brown Bear Shapes Game. Students can spin and color or pick and color so students can learn how to read the shape names using the familiar book characters and their matching colors.{Free download}
