Teaching Grammar with Parts of Speech Bookmarks

Avoid teaching grammar in isolation. Here is a set of 5 free printable parts of speech bookmarks for second grade and up. Bookmarks are a clever way to build in grammar during reading time and making it handy! Have students identify adverbs, adjectives, common/proper nouns as well as verbs using a simple bookmark template.

Parts of Speech: Teaching Grammar Bookmarks

Choose your selected parts of speech: adverbs, adjectives, common nouns, proper nouns and verbs. Print off the number of free bookmarks needed for each student to have one. Students keep the bookmark handy during a reading time and can even be used in a group setting. With lots of room to write, even young students can find the correct parts of speech.
