With different ways to present the method for kids, you’ll be teaching science with more ease.

1. Printable Cards – These are cute and simple cards (6 to a page) that remind students of the steps of the scientific method. They could even work great as a small booklet if bound or make the front of a foldable. Having a picture to go with each step may help making the steps easier to learn and recall. 2. Printable Chart – This all in one place chart will keep the scientific method organized for your students. It is a great wall poster or a great printable to slip into a science notebook. It’s a longer song (over 6 mins) but its very appropriate for introducing single variables and getting the whole method memorized in rap form. Cut it shorter for review, since it repeats itself and you’ve got a time saver.

6. Foldable for the Steps – See how this teacher creates a sample scientific method steps foldable for one of her students’ activities. Use it as a template or create your own. Wouldn’t this be a fun way to have students record a science experiment instead of on a worksheet to change it up a little?

7. The Scientific Method Song – This song will remind students of what is playing on the radio and it comes along with the words on powerpoint. It would be great background music for students to listen to while doing some independent science work as encouragement. This is designed for older grades using more complex vocabulary and comes in just over 4 mins.
