Celebrate the first day of school with free first day of school certificates. These first day of school certificates are editable and super cute.
While the first day of school is built upon a lot of excitement and preparation, it can be good to end the day on a positive note by giving your students a little congratulatory token.
These printable first day of school certificates are perfect for pre-k, kindergarten, tk and first grade. But don’t worry – if you teach another grade level – I’ve got your back too.
I’ve made each certificate ready to print or editable. That way you can prepare them ahead of time and have them ready to go home on the first day of school.
These editable first day of school certificates have a place for you to type in the student names, your teacher name and the date.
If you want to use the editable portion – then you’ll need Powerpoint or Google Docs to use that file. If you use Google Docs, you’ll need to change the page setup (to be 8.5 x 11) after you import the document.
But you can always print off a master too and hand write the details in. Your call.
I think printing them onto (affiliate) brightly colored paper makes them pop and super cute. But you could just as easily print them onto white paper and let your students color them too.
Remember, it may come in handy to have a few extra on hand in case of name typos or surprise students being assigned to your class list last minute.
Because let’s be real… that never happens {wink}

The half sheet certificates feature a boy and girl character.
The full page school certificates have school supplies and are adorable too.
Fun – but decently official looking – if you ask me.
I made sure to include a “school” option so that way other grade levels could participate too. See, I told you I had your back.
