This matching activity uses a worksheet for students use as a workmat. Following a unit on plants, wrap up or review the names with common food items. Common items you might be able to use are sunflower seeds, broccoli, celery, spinach and carrots. Each of the food items is part of a plant that is edible! Students can draw the items on their worksheet after eating or illustrate another example. Will they match all of the foods to the correct plant part names?
