Fun Cityscape Collages Art for Young Kiddos

Make gorgeous mixed media collages. Here is a layer by layer tutorial on making cityscape collages using paint, Sharpie markers and newspaper. The collages are inspiring and make a fantastic art project for keeps. This art project would be fitting for kindergarten, first and even second grade.

Mixed Media Cityscape Collages

These art projectswill remind you of work by Ezra Jack Keats. Students use old painted paper with new paint on top to create a multicolored background. They create a city silhouette with a Sharpie and paint and create the forefront of the city with newspapers. Stamp-painted windows make a stunning finished project.
